I have been working at the school for 16 years. In my job I work with children on reading, writing and math. I also am working a second job as a Recreation Assistant for a Summer Playground program. This program is for children ages 5-12 and runs Monday through Friday. The program offers recreation activities and art project for the children. I was also a nanny//babysitter for a family with three children for more than eight years. I spent time with the children on a regular basis. I also stayed overnight with the children on a regular basis. I have many ideas to do with children in the way of art projects and I also can help children with their school work. Additional Information Childcare style My patience and understanding of young children is a quality I am very proud of . I feel as though I was put on this earth to be around children. I have always loved children. I believe that children need boundaries and restrictions. I believe in Love and Logic with children. Self-description I have participated in many classes and workshops over the years from which I have gained valuable strategies in working with students in various situations. I have many strategies I have used with different students I have come in contact with during all my years of teaching. I am continually in contact with students who have many different abilities on a daily basis. The children I am in contact with everyday are continually teaching me as well.
