My name is Giselle. I am a 30 year old American woman with over five years of professional nanny experience.
I love children and I look forward to being a part of their lives, teaching them, and watching them learn about the world around them. I am a strong, independent, loving, organized, fun, outgoing, adventurous, and self-educated woman who hopes to instill some of these qualities in the children whose lives I am a part of. I enjoy reading (favorites include: The Napping House, Harold and the Purple Crayon and The Little Prince), cooking and introducing new tastes and textures to children (though French Toast seems to be a recurring favorite. ), concocting arts and crafts projects that can be strung, hung and displayed in proud children's rooms, going for walks and swims, singing (the same song over and over. ), marching, tickling, chasing, making believe, spinning children into a giggling stupor, coloring, and most importantly talking about everything we see around us.
I am at ease (and have experience) with children 3 months-preteen and as such am comfortable: preparing all meals, diapering, bathing, sleep training, potty training, driving to various activities/appointments, providing homework help, and traveling.
I am a believer in boundaries with love. I am gentle but firm, very safety-conscious, and will do anything to put your mind at ease while your children are in my care.
