I love being a nanny, I have had opportunities to do other things, but I simply could not find half the joy in them that I find every day helping a child grow relationally, cognitively, and personally. I am a fun, creative nanny, with my bachelor's in Applied Linguistics from Moody Bible Institute. I have experience with every age group, from 1 to 12, as well as experience tutoring children, working in montessori schools, and assisting in home speech therapy.
I LOVE to read with children, do art projects, go to the park, and allow them to express themselves. :)I love to care for the child holistically, meaning not only facilitating creative and fun activities, but to interact with them in such a way as to foster their social, moral, and developmental growth. I am consistent in discipline (and want to work with the parents in what their style is). I don't think I am just an authoritative figure, but a role model, friend, and part of the family. I have been blessed thus far in being so welcomed in the families I have worked with. |
