  About Me

I have spent the last six years of my life, working with children every chance I get. I began babysitting when I was sixteen, and I am now looking to do what I have been doing part time, full time. I have cared for fifteen children, both boys and girls, between the ages of newborn to 11. I love working with children, because it is rewarding to watch them grow and learn, and to be a part of helping them grow and learn. as a Nanny, while I have my beliefs of childcare, I am semi-flexable to align my disapline, with the rules that the parents have already established. I am a christian, and I love reading and telling stories, and the bible stories are the ones I know the best, and I love it when little kids, even as young as 1 and 2 know sunday school songs, and sing along. kind, but firm and consistant. I believe that children need to know the bouderies, and need to know that there are consequenses for their actions, and that the consequences need to be followed through on. I firmly believe that priviledges such as TV, Movies, Video Games, can be taken away for a period of set time as puishment, as well as time outs, and sending them to their room.
