| Since I was very young I have always had a tendency to nurture. I was sort of thrown head first into my first nanny job for 3 month old Anna when I was fifteen. Her mother was young and had a drug problem. She basically left Anna with me for close to 2 years. I stepped up to the challenge. I learned so much from Anna and loved every minute of it. It just sort of came naturally to me. Since then I somehow managed to find young children in need. When 2 year old Kobe came into my life I knew he (and his mother) needed help. I took care of him for 8 months and we had a great time. He was emotionally neglected and his behavior suffered for it. All he needed was someone to give him attention, which was a pleasure for me. It has been so rewarding to be a part of these children's lives. Taking care of children just seems to fit with me. I know that many may think that at 19 I am too young to be responsible for a child, but in my experience age hasn't got very much to do with a person's ability to care for and love a child. It's all about personality. If you enjoy children they will enjoy you, and for me there is nothing I love more. I feel that young children are most comfortable with routine. I try to keep things relatively scheduled, play-time, meal-time, and bath-time should be around the same time everyday. I always like to read to children at any age. Baby's absorb everything, they understand far more than they can express. In addition to the schedule I love organizing fun activities and outings. I love going to the zoo and parks, there's a great children's water park near my house. I also am a great swimming instructor, it is so important for children to learn how to swim as early as possible, especially in Florida. I taught a 5 month old baby to float on her back. All in all I try to always have fun while I am with children because if I am having fun they'll be having fun. |

Work Experience & Education Background |

| 4 years experience, 2 references |
| From the age 15 to 17 I was a personal live-in nanny for Molly Mayes and her baby, Annamaria. I started when Anna was 3 months and lived with her for 2 years. I still have a close relationship with Anna (now 4) and Molly. When I was 18 I took in 2 year old Kobe Santaniello. His mother, Shaina Santanello was unable to take care of him at the time. He lived with me for a period of 8 months. During that time I organized Day-Care for him while I worked as a waitress during the day. We had a regular nightly routine which included playing to learn colors, numbers, and shapes (when he came he could not identify colors). At night we would have a bath and read a book. Kobe's behavior improved dramatically in the time he was with me. He benefited from routine and discipline (I only give time-outs as I believe hitting children only promotes children to hit in retaliation). I love taking care of children, I feel that I have benefited from them as much they have from me. |
