| I am a nanny for a 2 year old boy I started when he was one. The family is moving out of state and no longer needs me. With me time spent with him he reached cognitive goals such as learning his shapes, colors, number, counting, abc's, and a dramatic improvement in speech. I broke him of bottle use and fully potty trained him. I helped to make nap/bedtime 90% easier. I tended to the house as well as the child, doing dishes, general tidying of the house, light laundry and meal preperation. I also have 6 years experience as a teachers assistant in an early learning facility for children ages 2-5 as well as teaching kindergarten and grades 3, 4 and 5. I have 12 years experience as an occasional babysitter for children ages 1-12 including twins and multiples. I am extremly friendly and outgoing. I know when to be goofy and silly, but in charge an authoritative at the same time. I know my role and never step on the toes of my employers. My background allows me to put an educational spin on things, but I never overdo it. I know how to manage the education and the fun. The safety of the children is always number one. |
