I am always eager to try new things and enjoy opportunities to mentor others. My personality is vibrant, hardworking, trustworthy, self motivated, zest for life, and mother-like. If your looking for unbeatable care for any age, I am your Nanny. My name is Katelynn. I am 25 years old. I studied Early Childhood at Portland Community College. Full time Nanny for three years for a Family in Beaverton.
I am the eldest of five children. Raised in Catholic home where Christian Family values were upheld. Father was an Elementary PE teacher and my mother stayed at home. I was home schooled for most of my education. Attaining a solid education and active in physical activity was important to my family. Participated in Basketball, Theatre, Volleyball, and Softball. Enrolled in Piano lessons for many years.
I do not like engaging in hours of video games and television when caring for children. I would much rather interact and explore with your children. Possibilities are endless when we use our imagination.
Hobbies include Writing, Traveling, Exercising, and Volunteering in the Community. I love to spread joy to all I meet.
I have experience with multiples, special needs, and multi tasking. Have reliable transportation and enjoy planning activities that the children enjoy. Offering reliable care is priority to me daily. Value the trust the parents have in the services I provide. Nanny is more than a job, it is a lifelong Profession. Eager to hear from you. Thank you for your consideration.

Work Experience & Education Background |
|
|
4 years experience, 2 references |
Nanny for a family in Beaverton for three years. Their boys were 2 and 4 years of age when I was hired. Enriching the lives of the children was primary to me. Planned trips to local libraries for story time, OMSI, Children's Museum, Zoo, Nature Walks, Local Parks, Bike Rides, and more. Assisted with school transportation, healthy snacks in the afternoon, and other seasonal baking activities that the kids enjoyed. looked for opportunities to work on letter, number, and color recognition. I maintained a good relationship with the parents. Open communication was key and I supported the routine they had in place for their boys. I could not ask for a better family
Have also cared for a family with two twin boys. Their children were nine months old when I started. They are now almost two years of age. Care for them includes playing with toys, reading books, singing songs, dancing, nature walks, and playing at the park. Prepare and serve meals as needed.
Fortunate to care for a wide range of children over the years. Including some with special needs. I have taught Piano to three children with Autism. Theatre director for two boys who were diagnosed with ADD and Autism. All Children are unique an special.
