Hello,
My name is Molly B., I am 20 years old and attend CSULB. I grew up in Los Angeles and am one of nine children. I have been baby-sitting since I was 11 and haven't stopped since. In all honesty I love children hence the choice in profession and they love me. I know what they need, what their next move is going to be and what needs to be done to make them happy. I am not a 'couch potato, " I will not plop your child in front of the TV and consider it a job well done. I plan on reading books, playing board games and doing whatever other stimulating activities I can think of.
I started out baby-sitting for family friends. I baby-sat for a family for 4 years, they had an 11 year old, a four year old and a new-born when I began. I ran errands, brought the children to and from activities, cooked, and travelled with the family around the United States. I was given full responsibility by the family. I currently am baby-sitting for two familes both of which have been long term.
I have a 2002 ford explorer, with full insurance coverage. I am not going to lie I have one speeding ticket for going 70 in a 65 zone. I am willing to commute and if I will be driving places I would appreciate gas compensation but it is not absolutely necessary depending on distance. As a babysitter I have rules. I am not a pushover, I expect respect from parenst as well as children. I will discipline only to a certain level and then I will leave it to parents.
