I have one older brother who is 23 and I recently moved back home into my parents house after finishing school for the year. I grew up as the second oldest cousin out of ten and have been a role-model to them for years. I attended Northern Illinois University for the past four years on a full ride scholarship as a Track & Field athlete and Physical Education Major. I have been active in track since an early age accomplishing numerous state championships, all state/conference honors, MVP awards, and records. I also was a competitive gymnast for seven years of my life also accomplishing state championships as well as national titles and records. I was active in basketball and Volleyball since 7th grade and still continue to play in leagues when I have free time. I also love going to the beach, vacationing, water sports, waterparks, swimming, crafts, watching movies, learning activites, and pretty much anything else I can do outdoors. I love being active and healthy and feel it is important to give a child the same opportunity whether its playing sports or enjoying an indoor/outdoor activity. The importance of a child development is unexplainable to me. I am amazed by the nature of a children and would love to be apart of a child's growing experiences as a friend, role-model, and authorative figure. I love working with children and I believe it is very important to involve myself in their every day activities. I treat children as if they were my own and am fascinated by them. I love sports, being outdoors, and doing indoor activities as well. I think its very important to keep children active to help them develop and fuction well in society and develop proper learning/social skills.
