  About Me

Hey there. I am 22 years old and a recent graduate from the Florida State University with a degree in Criminology. I now attend night classes at John Jay College for Criminal Justice in the spring and fall, perusing my master's criminal justice. This past year I was a swimming instructor for students attending Leman Manhattan Preparatory School, but as the school year has come to an end I am looking for something else, preferably working with kids. As far as experience, I do have plenty. I have been baby sitting since the age of twelve and have held part-time and full time nanny positions. Most recently, I was a nanny for my the Mayfield Family's two beautiful daughters, ages 8 months and 2 years old. The job required housekeeping as well as the care for their children. In the past I sat for my Pastor's three wonderful school aged boys. I find my self constantly being drawn to children in my work as well. I taught swim lessons to children ranging from 6 months to 5 years old for a year, and I was involved in an Americorps non profit organization called Jumpstart, which focuses on enhancing literacy and cognitive development for children between the ages of 3 and 5 years old. I have worked at several camps, including Camp Boggy Creek which is more focused on children with physical or developmental disabilities. I have plenty of references that I would be more than happy for you to contact. As you can see, I am very passionate about children. I am very patient, neat and energetic. I have a perfect driving record and enjoy cooking and cleaning. I have read your qualifications for the ideal candidate and I am confident that I can fulfill all your needs. I was a lifeguard for 4 years and completed training for CPR, first aid, oxygen administration, AED and swimming safety. If you have any questions for me, I would be glad to answer.
