  About Me

I am an experienced childcare provider (who L. s her job. ) looking for a full-time position with a family in need of a great nanny. I am an educated, responsible, and flexible nanny with great references and five years of full time experience in NYC. I live in Harlem but was raised in Stamford, CT. My hobbies include reading, writing, classic film, and long walks. Below is a little more information about my education and my recent experience.

I started baby-sitting in high-school and by the time I went to Sarah Lawrence College I had a lot of experience under my belt. I decided studying early childhood education would be a natural progression so I minored in E. C. E. I was able to work at the Early Childhood Center at SLC in the 3 and 4 year old preschool classroom for one academic year. I successfully applied my studies to my work in the classroom. This real-world experience has stuck with me and I naturally use my E. C. E studies in my interactions with children.

For the past year and a half I have been a full-time Nanny for three children who were 3 months, 2, and 4 when I started. For the baby my responsibilities included following her feeding and sleeping schedule, bathing her, and playing with her. For the older children I organize meals, play dates, homework help, and supervised their bed time routine. I have recently taken a class and received my Infant Care Specialist Certification so I am ready to take care of all children of all ages.
