My name is Kaylie S. and I am attending the University of Oregon starting in the fall of 2012 to attend school in the hopes of obtaining my masters degree in Speech Language Pathology. While attending school I am hoping to find a live in nanny position. I look forward to joining a family to provide them an extra set of hands to help around the house and with their children.
I have much experience working with children. Currently in Corvallis I nanny for a professional family that has a 4 month old and a 2 year old. I also am currently finishing my second year as an infant/toddler teacher at a daycare center. I am very sad to leave my two current jobs but since I have graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Human Development and Family Sciences, it is time to move on and further pursue my educational and professional goals.
I believe in the importance of providing a safe, fun, and loving environment to help foster the growth and development of a child. I love to create and implement fun educational activities as well as incorporate positive development in every day routines. I hope to provide positive guidance to the children I work with as well as build a positive and loving relationship. I am a great team player and work well with children, parents, and other child care providers. Families I have worked with would describe me as responsible, loving, energetic, hardworking and creative.
I have countless references, certification, documentations, and examples of my work as a nanny, infant/toddler teacher, preschool teacher, teachers aide, babysitter, and volunteer. I would be happy to provide any information or answer any more questions if asked.
