During my stays there, I would do some upkeep to keep the house clean, I'd cook for the kids, take them to the nearby playgrounds, and, if need be, make grocery errands on the way to the house, and arrange rides so I could take the children to play-dates. The kids I usually cared for loved my cooking and seemed like the fact that I was very involved with making sure they were safe, having fun, and finishing the tasks they were assigned by the parents. They also liked that I could simplify things for them when they needed help on homework and that I took my time with them, no matter how long it might be. All in all, I'd say that kids generally tend to like me.
