| I am an education major who feels education is the root of everything. I want to work with children as a career in order to make change happen. I just got back from Spain from a semester abroad and am able to see how important it is to educate children in language and how to communicate clearly. I know I will not let you down this summer as a mentor and nanny for your children. I believe that children require attention, just as many adults do. however, it is the obligation for adults to give children the attention they deserve in order for him or her to feel important, have his or her voice heard, and feel they are in an environment where they can act like themselves. I also believe children need fun in order to grow and see how great life can truly be. |

Hello,
I am currently en elementary education major at Northeastern University and have a lot of experience working in the classroom with children from at ages 4-15. I have also had much experience babysitting and working as a nanny every summer since I was 16 years of age. I also spent a year working in a preschool for underprivileged children. I have spent time as a tutor in afterschool care and am interested in becoming a teacher when I graduate in 2009. |
