I am a very fun and outgoing young woman. I am currently a college student in my second year as a student studying English with a concentration in technical and creative writing and a minor in theatrical performance. I love the arts, whether it be writing, drawing, acting, dancing, or musical forms. My hobbies particularly pertain to writing, as I write poetry avidly. I love children. I am child number two out of five children at home. I have all sisters, three in which are younger than me. The youngest two are between the ages of 4 and 10. These two, I frequently take to the park during the summer, participate in fun and games at home, and arts and crafts. Doing the school year, I assist with homework, and babysit quite often. I have work experience with children, as I was a clown in 2010 working at Neon Nuts in Crete, Illinois. My responsibilities were to entertain children through face painting, games and arts and crafts, so I have an energetic spirit. As stated before, I worked at Neon Nuts in 2012 from Oct. to Dec. My duration was short due to insufficient pay, however, I loved the job when it pertained to children. As stated responsibilities revolved around entertainment i. e. face painting, games and crafts. We were also responsible with closely monitoring the children, as their parents were off in another venue. This job mainly revolved around parties and holiday celebrations. In any other work around children, though I have worked in entertainment, I do plan on meeting the needs of both the parent and the children or child. Education is important, and rather than sit around and watch tv for the majority of the day of play games, there should be educational works involved; whether it is reading, or arts, or actual preparation for the school year. There will also be close attention to detail of what the parents list as my responsibilities. |
