I am an experienced educator interested in working as a part-time babysitter for a great family. I have been teaching in an eclectic range of educational institutions for nearly 10 years, serving students ages 3-45. I have taught theater and film to at-risk teens, life skills and music to young children with autism, SAT classes, ESL to children in Thailand, and more.
I am highly compassionate and energetic with children, yet also efficient and hardworking. Contrary to social norms, I am a male who knows how to cook and clean.
I graduated from Brandeis University a year ago (my experience belies my age). When I am not educating I am making films, music, writing or doing something similarly artsy.
My availability is open now and I am flexible. I am looking for a part time job while I complete a film project I am working on. I am trying to buck the starving artist trend by earning enough money to support my creative habits, while doing something I genuinely love.
Please let me know if you are interested or have any questions. Thank you. |

Debra Johnson |
Debra hired me in my first education job working with children with autism. I worked for her for 4 summers. I feel she is a particularly relevant reference, because she has seen me working with young children in a childcare capacity. |
