  About Me

I am a loving and upbeat recent college graduate with a degree in Anthropology and a certificate in Marketing. I grew up in a small immediate family with two older brothers. I am fortunate enough to have a large extended family consisting both of relatives and family friends. When I was 16, I was lucky to have my family extended even more by the addition of my step-father and his family, making us a family of ten. Being the youngest on my father's side of the family, I have grown up with the experience of meeting and watching the next generation grow. I have been fortunate to care for many of my family members' children, as well as, the children of some family friends. Four years ago, I proudly became the aunt of a beautiful niece, and a year ago again, to an adorable little nephew. Throughout high school, I assisted a kindergarten and first grade class for one year and a second grade class for two years. I helped the students fix in class assignments in order to help them progress further. In my personal time, I enjoy hiking, reading, and being around family and friends. However, I prefer to stay active above all.

Although I have not had professional experience caring for children, I have cared for the children of family members and family friends. My experience as an aunt has given me ease when caring for children. I would care for children by not only providing basic needs, but also showering them with the same love I would give to my niece and nephew. The children would stay active, partaking in activities that are not only fun but educational as well. As a person that likes to stay active and enjoy the outdoors, I would frequently try to take the children out to the park, walks, or small hikes depending on the child's age.
