Because both my parents work, and are now divorced, I have been babysitting since age 10. While I don't have a driver's license at the moment, I have had a permit for two years and am soon to get one. I was supposed to graduate this year after skipping a grade, but because of discrepancies in transcripts coming over, I have had to take an additional year of credit at the same time as going to school. I have learned to manage my time by taking anywhere from 10-14 classes simultaneously in the past two years, while placing first at nearly all debate tournaments I have been in, and participating in National Honor Society and Future Farmers of America. Because I am taking college level classes now I am willing to assist middle school and younger children with schoolwork and classes they're struggling in. I was on a competitive swim team for 6 years, and have taken lessons up to lifeguard training, so I am entirely comfortable taking kids swimming. I am looking for a job this year because my load has been lessened and I am heading off to college in a matter of months.
