| I am a 20 year old full-time college student who is looking to get to know a great family with amazing kids. I have a lot of experience with children and have had experience in babysitting a child with Downs Syndrome. I am patient, loving and affectionate but I am a firm believer in limits and boundaries. I think that it is important for children to learn responsibility and self-sufficiency. I think that it is important for the kids to be active and busy throughout the day. I like to plan educational activities such as trips to the museum and events at the library and I also love to do arts and crafts. I like to leave the house cleaner than before I got there and I like to be able to give the parents a break as much as I can. I like to have fun with the kids but also be an authority figure. I believe that limits and boundaries are good for a child to help teach them responsibility and self-sufficiency. I like to do educational activities as well as arts and crafts. I like to make daily schedules and plans for the day. |

| I currently have been working for a family doing overnight childcare. I have been working with them since September 2006. I have done everything from taking the children to events, cleaning the house, feeding the children. I prepare the children for bed and in the morning I wake them up, provide breakfast, make sure that lunch is prepared and drop the child off at the bus stop. The children are an 8 year old boy and a 4 year old girl. |
