I would like to contribute in any way that I can in the areas that you need me. I love to be active and take part in outdoor activities, children’s activities, go to the park, play games with them, help them with their homework (tutor them), create new activities and games to keep them busy and productive, and make everyday tasks enjoyable. I love music and enjoy implementing it into play time, down time, and car time. I believe that children should learn and grow in areas such as cleaning up after themselves, and helping with simple tasks. I have taught children to read and have tutored in Math. I am compassionate and caring and really enjoy working with kiddos. I have 8 nieces and 3 nephews. I believe children start learning at an early age the skills to accomplish simple daily tasks, such as picking up their toys/messes, helping mommy or nanny with meals (if old enough). I don't believe that everything should be done for a child and handed over to them. I am very willing to help out with cleaning up after them, but don't believe it should be the nanny or mother doing EVERYTHING for the children. It helps the child to learn to be responsible. I am willing to cooperate with the parents discipline style, but I do believe that you need to occasionally raise your voice & I believe in time outs if there is disrespect involved. It is important to me for the nanny and parents to be on the same page as far as discipline is concerned. I don't believe in hitting or yelling. |
