  About Me

I am a 49 year old Caucasian female. I grew up in Stanley, WI. I attended UW Stout in Menomonie, WI, and I graduated with a BS in Vocational Rehabilitation/Special Education. From there I moved to Las Vegas, NV and taught special education for 17 years. I also got my M. Ed. in special education from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. I moved to the Milwaukee area in 2002 as I met my husband there. For the past 9 years I worked at Milwaukee Center for Independence. I was a case manager working with developmentally disabled clients. I assisted in finding them services so that they could live as independently as possible. I also worked for the IRIS program running background checks on prospective caregivers. I did not care for the job however.

I am a very caring and compassionate person. I am very organized. I get along well with others. I am driven and motivated. I enjoy helping other people out. Some of my hobbies include reading, walking, hiking, traveling. I don't have any children myself, but my husband has two grown daughters.
