  About Me

Thank you for looking at my profile. When I was in kindergarten I wrote in our annual that I wanted to be a "baby doctor" and that still holds true. I have always enjoyed working with children and want to become a pediatrician. I just finished a graduate program in nutrition at Columbia University where I focused on neonatal nutrition. Some of my favorite things to do include exploring NYC, swimming, yoga, art (and arts and crafts. ), and traveling. As a bilingual, well-organized and reliable person I think I can provide great service to your family. Feel free to ask me any questions. I look forward to hearing from you.

  Work Experience & Education Background

6 years experience, 0 references
At a very young age, I began taking care of my two brothers since we lives in a single-parent household. I continued to babysit and care for other children throughout middle school and high school. During this time, I also began tutoring elementary school children at nearby schools. When I reached college, I joined JumpStart which is a program that supports wary childhood development and preparedness for kindergarten. I also volunteered at orphanages and schools in Latin America during the summers where I taught English and computer skills in addition to care-taking.

Most recently I have been studying nutrition and how nutritional needs change over the course of development.
