Maggie Carpenter |
I have known the Carpenter family for 6 years and worked with them as an on-call sitter and part-time sitter for 4 years until their move to upstate New York. The Carpenters are a good friends family whom I started sitting for infrequently and helping out at family outings in Vermont. When the kids were in school I would pick them up 3x a week and be with them until around 7pm. We played physical games such as tag, moving a different way at every block on the sidewalks, cognitive games like answer question with a question or free association. I love these kids and felt they were my own family. The mother was very positive and served as a strong role model for how I interact with children. |

Stacey Trevino |
I was a live-in nanny for Stacey's son Jessie who was 3yrs at the time in 2007 for a summer on Marthas Vineyard. I took him to different activities, camp, the beach, made dinners, cleaned and operated as member of the family helping the single mother in anyway that I could. I have since been in contact with the family and when visiting Marthas Vineyard will babysit the boy. It was an incredible experience to live with the family I was working for allowing me to be part of the family and I have the mother's open, fun-loving spirit to thank for that. |
