I have ten years of experience working with children and have been a full time personal assistant for a family for the last eighteen months. The services I can offer you as a nanny, that greatly differ from a typical nanny, is an opportunity to relax with and enjoy your family without concern for everyday household responsibilities.
My focus as a nanny is to provide an environment that allows you to come home from work and not worry about cooking, cleaning, laundry, ironing, errands, car maintenance, gift shopping, and other daily errands that may prevent you from spending time with your loved ones. As a matter of fact, I have previously been affectionately referred to as a real-life Mary Poppins.
I genuinely love my job. It is my career and being a mother myself, quality of care for children and ensuring their safety and well-being is my top priority. I work with children on etiquette, including manners, and work with them to develop responsibility by developing specialized responsibilities for each child to accomplish and in turn develop a sense of accomplishment and pride. This may include: making the bed, washing their hands, putting clothes away, etc. Manners are extremely important to me and I work hard with the children and the families by continuing traditions and manners upheld by the family.
I love cooking and encouraging children to try new foods and develop healthy eating habits. I work closely with families and their diet to develop menus and cook dinners during the week reflecting their needs. I believe children should eat healthy meals with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables so I work hard to ensure all meals I make for the family satisfy their nutritional needs and also taste great. Previous families I have worked for have participated in numerous nutritional programs including Weight Watchers or have different food allergies, so I am mindful of the daily nutritional habits of families. I grocery shop for my families to make sure they always have a full fridge.
Entertaining children and encouraging participation in new projects is very important to me. I love arts and crafts and encourage children to make homemade gifts. I am also a photographer and work with families to make sure all the special moments are captured. As a photographer, I believe pictures are frozen moments in time that make up the stories of our lives and I want to make sure each family has that opportunity available to them.
Work trips and extended care that requires overnight trips or other special circumstances are welcomed as I understand work and other unexpected events may occur. I am flexible with travel and all family events that may require my assistance. I will treat your family as an extension of my own. This is why I also perform daily household duties; organize homes if requested, and other errands.
I am proud I can honestly say I love my job and put my heart and soul into it. |

Mykio Seracino |
I have been a sitter on a regular once a week basis and occasionally more since her daughter was an infant. Her daughter is almost to the age of three and I have done all the duties to keep her fed changed and clean. Mykio has brought her to me where I live and where I have Nannied in the past also to watch her and then we would meet up and exchange her daughter where I would be when she was off of work that evening. I have known Mykio for the past seven years now and she has also had the privilege to watch my son also when he was an infant also. |

Margo Vanbeekum |
I have had the privilege knowing Margo and helping her with her children and deep cleaning and organizing her home. I have known her for the past ten years. When she was a single mother I came to help her reorganize her home from the garage through every room in the house. I help her organize and help her keep her family on a schedule to help her be able to work and come home to an environment that is safe and organized for her to be able to have a relaxing place to come home to. We went through all cupboards, closets, drawers, open areas, and bins to rearrange and organize the items that she needed while getting rid of the things that cluttered and collected dust in the home. Cleaned the carpets and created new areas in the home that came to better use of her belongings. |
