I am a 48 year old returning to College Student. I ran a in home childcare for six years which I only stop doing due to an economic slump. Prior to that I work in several daycare for other people. I have many years of experience raising my own children my oldest is 27 my youngest is 13 and he is living in California with his father. I believe that it is our responsibility to make the world come alive of our children. When a child comes into the world all they know it what we expose them to. I would love making children's world a wonderful, loving, kind, intellectually rich place to be.
I recent relocated to New York since I have been looking for employment as I reconstructed my resume I realized that the work that makes me most satisfied outside of my love for theater is taking care of children. My theater background fuels my love for using imaginative play to keep the children occupied. Whether it’s story time, tea time, or the super hero hour there is much to be said for Theater experience building a great imagination.
As far as dislikes I would prefer not to be exposed to a smoking environment. I also enjoy a very neat well organized household, which I am willing to help maintain. My hobbies are writing producing, and directing stage plays and movies. I also enjoy teaching acting. I love outdoor activities the park, beach, gardening, I do plan to take up horseback riding, and hang gliding at some point in my life.
I have no problem with assisting mom and dad in help the family run smoothly. Household duties, running errands, cooking, cleaning, laundry, are not a problem. I have no problem with finger printing and background check. Ideally I would love to provide loving care to children from birth to 5 years old.

To Whom it May Concern,
As a childcare provider to my 6-month twins and my two older children who were 4 and 7 at the time they began their care from 2001 to 2007 at “In God’s Hand’s Christina Child Care. Keeley W. has proven herself to be a remarkably responsible, loving woman.
I am amazed at the ease with which Keeley was able to fulfill a variety of tasks. Her home was always spotless each morning when we arrived with the children. She was a nanny to my babies, a teacher to my 4 year old, and she was also a tutor to my son. Keeley really went above and beyond in meeting the needs of her families, she would drove 20 mile out of her way to pick my son up from school so that I could keep my children together after school until my husband returned from work.
All this while running a nanny service in the evenings providing night care services for working single mothers, she even found time to volunteer at a local church where she taught theater to children and adults. Not once have I seen Keeley become overwhelmed by a given task or assignment.
I am confident that Keeley’s intelligence and professionalism will be great assets in any organization. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.
Sincerely,
Laquana Maryland

To Whom It May Concern
I am writing to recommend Keeley W. as a nanny in your agency/Family. Keeley had been working at my home from 2001 to 2007. She was a God during her period of employment at our home.
She was indeed very motivated to learn as much as she could and performed to her best capacities. She understands her limitations as a nanny and never disturbed our privacy. She is very skilled in
• Supervising and caring for children
• Planning, preparing and serving meals for children and able to perform other housekeeping duties
• Bathing, dressing and feeding infants and children
• Preparing formulas and changing diapers
Keeley has a number of strengths but her main strength, from my observations, is her capability to motivate children. She is compassionate caring and kind. I have no problem at all entrusting her with the care of my children and household management.
In summary, Keeley displayed the qualities that make a nanny successful. She is very reliable, trustworthy, motivated, and in tune with the requirements of family and children. Once again, I highly recommend her for a nanny position. In case of any queries, please feel free to contact me.
Best Regards,
Loretta Jeffery
