| I love being around children because they are so refreshing, idealistic, and energetic. Ideally I try to take on the role of a play buddy. I am all for going outside with the kids, running around, playing sports, doing crafts, playing trains, you name it. However I do not tolerate fighting, name calling, profanity, or sassy behavior. I would never spank or hit a child, but feel it necessary to have the ability to freely communicate a problem to the parents or to put a child in time out. I am very big on talking to kids in a manner that is not condesending. I think kids are so smart and should be encouraged and when they ask "why" "why" "why" I think its important to give them an answer. |
