  About Me

I graduated in English at Brigham Young University in April of 2011. My husband just started law school at NYU and so the two of us moved here to the city. I have had over three years of experience being a nanny and have excellent references. Additionally, I have had other jobs working with young children, including my time as a teaching assistant for fourth graders and being a literacy teacher for children of all ages.

In terms of personal interests, I love music, dance, art and literature. I started playing the violin at the age of 7. I also sang in a children's choir from age 6 to 14 and studied voice from 12 to 18.

I know for many parents, the main concern in hiring a nanny is finding someone who is dependable, honest and caring. These are characteristics that I pride myself on having. I love children, and helping them learn and grow is a very fulfilling job for me.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any more questions.

  Work Experience & Education Background

3 years experience, 3 references
I was a nanny for three years. When I started working for the family their three children were ages 3, 8 and 12. The middle child has cerebral palsy. My responsibilities included light house work, laundry, meals for the kids, taking the kids to various activities, setting up play-dates, and finding constructive playtime activities. Here in New York, I was able to help a family with a 3 year old and 5 year old who were looking for a temporary nanny for a few weeks. My responsibilities for this family included picking up the kids from school and preparing meals for the kids. Both of these families can provide excellent references of my character and care.

Additionally, I have had experience as a fourth grade teachings assistant and as a literacy teacher for children of all ages.
