| I am a college student home for the summer who would LOVE to work with children this summer. I have worked for many different families for seven years and cared for children ages 10 months to 12 years old. I have also worked as a camp counselor and a reading/writing tutor for a 3-4th grade elementary class. My favorite activities with children are outside games, arts and crafts, and I love to sing. I am energetic and patient and willing to teach your children something new and fun every day. I like to be a mix of laid-back and authoritative. I want the children to be happy with whatever activity we choose, but I won't let them forget who's the boss. I almost never have conflicts with children because I know how to communicate with them, make them laugh, and compromise. |
