My name is Nikki, I reside in Euclid OH, I moved here from NYC in january 2006.. I am a 25 year old Trinidadian female that is in search of a full-time childcare position, since I have been here in Cleveland I have worked for a lovely family in Cleveland Heights taking very good care of their 1 year old son Coleman Mon-Fri for one year I then left that job because Coleman began school. I am currently working for a family in shaker heights taking care of their two year old daughter hunter for four months I started in febuary and the job ends in June.. upon applying for the job I was quite aware that it was only temporary.... both families are available for reference. I DO NOT DRIVE, I am a good nanny and I love what I do I have alot of experience with kids, and I am also infant cpr trained, I have available references, I am punctual, I am a self starter, and I am not afraid to get down on the floor and play with the kids, my weekly rates are negotiable.

DISCIPLINE
- I believe in gentle discipline and respecting children as human beings. I do not believe in spanking, slapping hands or legs, other corporal punishment, yelling, screaming, humiliation, standing in corners etc. I believe that discipline is not really about punishment, but more about teaching children how to live and function in society. I believe in redirecting, explanations, logical consequences, and preventing tantrums as much as possible by making sure children are well rested, well fed, loved and understand what is happening, etc.
