  About Me

I am a 22 year old who lives in North Carolina at the moment but trying to move to New York City as quickly as possible. I have been doing the same job for five years and I want to start living my life the way I want it to be. New York provides so many opportunities that North Carolina just doesn't. I am looking to find a job that will keep my financially stable enough to go back to school so I can earn my degree in teaching elementary education to become a kindergarten teacher.

My whole life I have been surrounded by children; I am the eldest of three, I have been taking care of the kids in my neighborhood since I was 11 years old, and I want to work with children for the rest of my life. There's something magical about them that makes me feel young in a world that seems to want to tell me to grow up as fast as I possibly can. I am not certified, but I can be if you need me to, all you need to do is say so (although if I am hired, I will probably do it anyways for safety. )

Like I mentioned before, I have been taking care of children since I was 11 years old and I have looked after extensively, every age group you can think of; from infants, to toddlers, to school aged and up. All the friends of my parents would ask me to take care of their kids. I am comfortable with all ages, and honestly, nothing really scares me when it comes to kids.

I love pets, and have had lots of different stuff to work with from a crazy dog, to fish, and I currently am the proud mother of a sweet darling cat named Scarlett Anne. I really hope that if I move to New York I can bring her with me.

A group of my friends and I are currently in the process of trying to create a non-profit organization in hopes of creating a foundation that donates time and money to charities involved with the LGBQT community and spreading messages of hope and love to people in need. It's so far an on-going thing that we're trying to accomplish, but back in July/August we raised over $2500 to donate to the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission in honor of the woman who inspired our groups creation's birthday.

I am honestly just a hard working girl, who needs a change in her life. I want to make a difference in children's lives and if I am not doing it as a teacher, I want to work as closely and as intimately as I can with youngsters until I can get to that point. I am flexible, and willing, and can get the job done. My job that I have now provides with me with little satisfaction, but it taught me from the age of sixteen how to work for what I earn. I am willing to cook, clean, teach, bathe, learn, and grow from my experience.
