| An after-school nanny is needed for the upcoming school year (2015-2016) for two young boys, ages 15 and 13, who live in Milltown.
Responsibilities include picking up the boys at school (daily in South Brunswick and occasionally in Metuchen) and taking them home or to after-school activities (family will help pay for gas), ensuring that the boys have a healthy after-school snack and then cleaning up, providing them with homework help as needed/keeping backpacks organized, and engaging with them in fun activities when homework is complete.
Qualified candidates should have prior nanny/childcare experience, first aid/CPR training, have a safe vehicle and a good driving record. Candidates also must have good judgment; be organized and be able to manage to a schedule; be energetic, patient, fun and like sports activities; know how to be both a friend and an authority figure; enjoy helping with homework and assisting with school projects; and enjoy being fully engaged with boys of this age. Non-smokers only please and three references will be required.
Care would be needed starting early September on Monday through Friday from 2:00 p. m. to 6:00 p. m. with flexibility to stay a little later as needed with advance notice.
