Please note that if interested, care could extend into the following summer and school year. Care will be needed primarily for the 7 year old. The nanny’s responsibilities for the 7 year old include taking him to the bus stop in the morning and meeting him at the bus stop in the afternoon or picking him up from school, preparing a snack, assisting him with his homework, and playing games and participating in fun indoor and outdoor activities. Other responsibilities include getting the boys ready in the morning, meal prep, baking, running errands, doing the boys’ laundry, keeping the kitchen and play areas clean and tidy, and driving the 2 year old to daycare and occasionally picking him up from daycare. The family will provide a car for the nanny to use. Qualified candidates should have prior nanny/childcare experience, first aid/CPR training, have a safe vehicle, valid driver’s license, and a good driving record. Candidates also must have good judgment; be organized and be able to manage to a schedule; be energetic, patient, fun and like sports activities; know how to be both a friend and a mentor; enjoy helping with homework; like playing games; like to cook (basic skills); and enjoy being fully engaged with high-energy boys. Non-smokers only please and three references will be required. Care would be needed starting September 8 on Monday through Friday for the following times: • Morning: 7:00 am to 10:00 pm • Afternoon: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm • NOTE: The family is flexible and is fine with a different nanny for the morning and afternoon.
