Care would be before and after school from 7 am to 9 am and from 2 pm to 8pm, Monday through Friday (45 hours a week). Hours may vary on school holidays, sick days and snow days. Ideally, candidate must be well organized, responsible, a safe driver (family vehicle is provided), a good decision maker and comfortable with making decisions in the moment and planning ahead. Candidate must have be able to create a safe environment where children are able to talk to caregiver, help with homework and be good role model. Skills required are time management, communication skills, multi-tasking, good judgment. Must be organized and mature with good energy to keep kids engaged. Morning duties will include getting breakfast prepared, getting the children dressed and off to school, cleaning up and putting away the children's dishes after breakfast and making sure their rooms are tidy (no cleaning required). Afternoon duties include children’s laundry, pick up from school and taking to activities, staying on top of the children's schedule, making sure homework is done and correct and preparing dinner (ideally candidate would be a good cook but not required).
