Purpose: Care for children raised in English, Dutch and French in private household and provide support and expertise to parents in satisfying children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs. Duties include meal planning and preparation, laundry and clothing care, organization of play activities and outings, discipline, intellectual stimulation, language activities, and transportation. Additional duties include cleaning the house and keeping the house in neat and orderly fashion, administrative and organizational duties. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Pickup children from school, driving to and from social or sport outings and medical appointments Assist with children’s homework or other school activities Perform housekeeping and cleaning to maintain a neat and orderly appearance. Laundry and ironing Occasional prepare healthy dinners for the family. Help with set-up and clean-up after meals. Occasional errands Care for 2 dogs; feed them and let them out and occasionally go for walks Possibly travels with the family, domestic and international. Other occasional projects like “Spring Cleaning”, cabinets and garages organization, clean cars and windows within hand reach. Requirements: The ideal candidate has 5+ years of full-time nanny experience working with multiple young children, possesses impeccable references from past employers, demonstrate good judgment and be able to instinctively “know what to do”. The right personality type is an organized, clean, flexible, loving, caring, engaging, energetic, professional, and intelligent person, self-sufficient, reliable, responsible and trustworthy. Cleaning the house can be performed at any time between 8AM and 3. 30PM. We estimate about 2-3 hours a day from Monday to Friday. Flexibility is a must, the parents are very active professionally and socially, the Nanny needs to be flexible on hours and days, and of course it will go both ways. Staying at home a couple evenings each week will be required to allow parents social and professional activities outside working hours.
