I am a single mom with a full time job and I am a full time college student. My life can get hectic. haha My son is 7 years old and really is a fabulous kiddo; however, as with anyone else, sometimes I just need a little help or need a little break to get away. We just moved to the area in March of this year and I still do not know many people yet that are able to help out with babysitting. I am not looking to have someone full time as he does attend an after school program, but someone who I may come to rely upon when I need some help or just a break. I will say that I do work on Saturdays and my ex-husband has him for only that day of the week. Since deployment time is coming up soon, I need to start looking for assistance for child care on Saturdays as well, but that would not be until closer to January timeframe.
