  About Me

I am 19 years old, married and loving it. I am pursuing the careers of my dreams: physical therapy and American sign language interpreting. I am still an undergraduate but looking to join the Army and complete their physical therapy program and become an officer after I obtain my Bachelor's degree. My husband and I are looking to start a family of our own soon which is why I believe this will be a wonderful opportunity to work closely with children. I have been caring for children of all ages, off and on since I was a child myself. I am CPR/First Aid certified, extremely responsible and reliable. I have a passion for helping others as well as being outdoors, four wheeling, camping, going to the movies, nothing too out of the ordinary. I am from Idaho but loving it here in Colorado. I hope that you choose me for the care of your children and I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed.

  Work Experience & Education Background

9 years experience, 0 references
I have previous experience in customer service and retail, therefore I have great people skills. I have been caring for children of all ages since I was a child myself (about 9 years). I have assisted with children in the Special Olympics as well as in a developmental learning classroom, and outside of the classroom as a personal babysitter. I am actually planning to create a childcare environment beginning mid-late February in my home. Below is my structured plan for day-to-day care.

The Sunshine Learning Center charges $168-$188 per week per child. Springs Life charges $135-$180 per week per child. Late pick-ups are an extra $10 per 15 minutes. Comparatively, in my home childcare would be available from 7:00am to 6:00pm. Earlier drop-offs or later stays would be charged and extra $5 per half and hour. To be fair, instead of doing half and full day, rates will be per hour at $4 for the first child and every child after that is $3.

Daily Schedule:
7:00-8:00 Breakfast
8:00-8:30 Free Time
8:30-9:00 Music and Pick-Up, Restroom
9:00-9:30 Gross motor skills/exercise
9:30-10:00Fine motor skills/educational activity i. e. sign language, handwriting

2:00-2:15 Restroom
2:15-3:00 Craft project/education activity
3:00-3:30 Snack
3:30-4:00 Free time
4:00-6:00 Movie (Twice per week), Outside play (weather permitting)
