I was involved through volunteering and later on, I was hired as an Office Assistant, however my Work Study application was not awarded on time and I was laid off along with a few other student leaders.      Maria Cruse  Maria Cruse is a State Prosecution Attorney who was my Political Science professor and Mock Trial coach. She has been my professor/coach since my first year of college. I have known her for a year and a half now, and have been very involved with the Chemeketa Mock Trial team, dedicating many hours and traveling to different states in order to compete against other colleges and universities.
