  About Me

I come from a family who originated in Michoacán, Mexico, which is a state near the center of Mexico, however, I was born and raised here in Salem, Oregon. Although I may not have been to Mexico as much as I would like, I plan to visit someday and spend time with my family members that live there.
I am a very energetic person, I enjoy a variety of things, from school, to meeting new people and learning new things. I am currently going to college, and I plan on majoring in Criminal Justice and minoring in Psychology. I come from a family who is very united, we are supportive towards one another, especially when it comes to pursuing a higher education and working towards our goals.
Aside from school, I really enjoy becoming involved with my community and enhancing my leadership skills, I have explored several programs such as speech and debate, mentoring young teens for the Boys and Girls Club, and volunteering to help others. I also enjoy playing sports, and hanging out with family and friends. Some of my favorite activities include cooking, writing, playing basketball, jogging, swimming, and hiking.

Mock Trial involves learning and applying the law with critical thinking throughout the practices of speech and debate.
