Care is needed for a social, intelligent 13 year old boy. The caregiver’s responsibilities include picking the boy up from school, taking him home or to after-school activities (family will help pay for gas), making sure he has a healthy snack, assisting him with homework as needed, and being his companion. Qualified candidates should have prior caregiving experience, have first aid/CPR training, have a safe vehicle and a good driving record. Candidates also must have good judgment, be on time, and be responsible; be organized and be able to manage to a schedule; be energetic, patient, fun; enjoy helping with homework and enjoy being fully engaged with boys this age; and be a good communicator with parents. The boy is very allergic to cats and dogs, so candidates should not have pets (or only have hypoallergenic pets) and must be non-smokers. Three references will be needed. Care would be needed starting September 9, 2015 through June 2016. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 3:15 pm to 7:30/8:00 pm.
