Dad works from home full time and Mom works part time in the home and part time out of the home. We are looking for someone to help out with caring for and playing with our daughter 3-4 full days per week on a long term basis (likely T, W, Th- however, we are flexible with days). Start time would be anywhere from 8-9am and would go until 4-5:30pm, depending on your availability. About us: We are a fun loving, neat, healthy and fit professional family of 3. Our daughter is easy going, well behaved, funny and smart (all parents say this, I know, but she really is :) ) Mom is 30 and a professional at a local company. Dad is 32 and works from home in a professional career as well. Our daughter is currently being cared for by family member, who is relocating. We are looking to replicate the loving care she is receiving currently by welcoming a nanny into our home. Good quality food, exercise and creativity are very important to us, so we are hoping to hire someone who is committed to preparing healthy meals and snacks for our daughter and willing to take her outside to play (year round), so that she can get exercise and have fun playing outside. She also loves to do art (painting and coloring), dancing and singing so someone willing to foster creativity and nurture her interests would be great. Additionally, we only eat healthy organic food, so we are hoping that whomever we hire will respect our lifestyle choice and support this for us. About you: The ideal candidate will be experienced with providing care to either babies and/or toddlers and be able to provide recent, glowing references regarding the care you provided to a family. Ideally, our nanny would not have more than a 30 minute commute, just to keep it easy for you, so that commute is not an issue on days with bad weather. Candidates with experience in a child care center, birth educators/doulas, early education degree, nursing or care taking backgrounds/experience are preferred, though we are open to considering all. We are firm in our decision that our nanny should be a female, however. Additionally, while we love other children, we are hoping our nanny's full focus will be on our daughter, so we are also looking for someone who would not need to bring their own children to our home. Position will start as soon as next week. Background check and drug test will be required. CPR certification is a plus and may need to be obtained (at our expense) for position.
